If your goal is to improve your SAT or ACT score, I can help. I am an experienced educator and an effective tutor. I work online using an advanced and up-to-date curriculum developed by TestBright.

I live and work in the Wayzata School District, in Minnesota, but since I work online, my students are from across the country.

• To score well on the SAT or ACT a student needs content knowledge, but that includes learning that happened in ancient history (for example, middle school). Let me help you reanimate your middle school or Freshman high school self.
• To score even better on the SAT or ACT a student needs to understand what these tests are looking for, to focus preparation and study on areas that matter. For example, does either test cover noun-verb agreement, a basic feature of English grammar? Turns out one test does, one does not. I know what is on the test, and what is not, and you want to know this as well.
• To achieve a top score on your SAT or ACT you need to realize that these are not really content-area tests. For example, one test question asks you to calculate “45-5”; the answer is obviously 40. But most students get this one wrong. Why? Let’s talk.
• The SAT and ACT tests involve a contest between the student and the test writer. The test writer has the advantage because this is their day job. Let me help you close that gap.
